This Privacy Policy explains how Mehrab Driving Lessons (the "instructor", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects the personal data of learners and website visitors. We act as the data controller and are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

What we collect

• Contact details (name, phone number, email, pickup address) you provide when booking a lesson.
• Provisional driving licence details required by DVSA before lessons.
• Lesson history, payment records (handled by our payment processor), and any messages you send us.
• Basic website analytics (anonymous traffic data only — no tracking cookies are used without your consent).

Why we use it

• To deliver and schedule driving lessons (contract).
• To meet legal obligations (DVSA, HMRC, insurance, safeguarding).
• To respond to enquiries (legitimate interest).

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with our booking platform, payment processor, and authorities where required by law.

Retention

Lesson and payment records are kept for at least 6 years to meet HMRC requirements. Enquiries are deleted within 12 months if no booking is made.
